Effective as of January 20th, 2017, Walter Yeh has been officially named the President & CEO of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the foremost trade promotion organization in Taiwan.

Among the many global organizations Yeh serves at include the UFI Marketing Committee, UFI Board of Directors, and the IAEE Board of Directors. Yeh is also the current President of the Asian Federation of Exhibitions and Conventions Association (AFECA), and was awarded the 2016 IAEE Industry Leadership Award.

With more than 130 members across East, Southeast, and South Asia, AFECA has all major areas across the continent covered, and under Yeh’s guidance, AFECA has successfully continued its transformation into one of the more important MICE associations in all of Asia, firmly placing itself on the global stage.
