On April 4th, 2017, Walter Yeh, President of Taipei World Trade Center, was elected as one of the 12 Board members to the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Board during the 48th WTCA General Assembly in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Yeh states that the WTCA is one of the most influential associations in linking the world together and promoting global trade, and he looks forward to cooperating with other WTCA members. The Taipei World Trade Center received eight Best Practices awards in 2012, and is home to the upcoming 2017 COMPUTEX TAIPEI and the 2017 World Congress on Information Technology.

Yeh is also the president of TAITRA, t Board of Directors, and the IAEE Board of Directors of UFI and the recipient of the 2016 IAEE Industry Leadership Award, Yeh is the current President of the Asian Federation of Exhibitions and Conventions Association (AFECA).

With more than 130 members across the Asia-Pacific region, AFECA has all major areas across the continent covered. Under Yeh’s leadership, AFECA has successfully continued its transformation into one of the more important MICE associations in all of Asia, firmly placing itself on the global stage.
