Macao Convention & Exhibition Association (MCEA) was established in October 2002 with the objective “To Serve, Represent, Coordinate and Communicate” and is dedicated in building Macao into an international MICE destination. Presently, MCEA has a total of 88 enterprises members, which fully covers the MICE industry chain, with 60% being Macao’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). Since its establishment, MCEA has organized and co-organized various kinds of exhibitions, e.g. the largest UFI approved annual trade show, i.e. Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF). Moreover, in order to expedite trading relationship with mainland China, expand local enterprises presence in mainland market and to demonstrate Macao as a city of vitality, MCEA has so far hosted “The Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair” in 17 major cities in China already. Furthermore, MCEA has also initiated education and training programs to enhance professionalism and has collaborated with industry related institutes and organizations both in Macao and even overseas.
