CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (CMEC Exhibition) originated from the Exhibition Office of the First Ministry of Machine-Building Industry established in 1953. As the first large corporation integrating foreign trade with industry in China, China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation (renamed as China Machinery Engineering Corporation in 2011, CMEC) was founded in 1978 and the Exhibition Office was transferred to CMEC. It was registered as CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd., one of the fully-owned subsidiaries of CMEC in 1995. CMEC Exhibition is the largest state-owned exhibition company in China's machinery industry with long history and rich experience.
