AFECA ASIA MICE YOUTH CHALLENGE 2019 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, the team from Indonesia was the Champion at the fifth staging of AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge with outstanding case study and presentation that appeal to the audience earlier this month in Manila, the Philippines. This team was supported by Indonesia Exhibition Companies Association (IECA) and participated for the first time.

First Runner Up was from Malaysia, Taylor’s University, supported by Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS). Takming University of Science and Technology supported by Taiwan Exhibition & Convention Association (TECA) won Second Runner Up.

AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2019, the much sought after annual event with a record number of 20 participating teams representing 11 Asian countries/areas, is the industry-championed platform to showcase the innovative thinking, strategic approach and creative execution of students majoring in MICE, Business Events, Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism fields. The countries/areas that were represented this year came from China, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2019 is organised by Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations (AFECA), the federation with 37 MICE association members, 116 corporate members and 2 affiliates in 19 cities/countries, and the regional organisation representing the MICE industry in Asia.
