The groundbreaking AFECA Convention 2024, held from 4–6 November at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marked a significant milestone for the MICE industry in Asia, underscoring collaboration, innovation, and leadership. Bringing together over 300 delegates from 14 countries, the convention highlighted AFECA’s commitment to advancing the MICE industry across Asia.

Key Highlights of the Convention:
The convention showcased key events including the Annual General Meeting, A20 Business Events Forum, and the AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge. Industry leaders, policy makers, students, and other stakeholders gathered to engage in transformative discussions on strategic areas such as regional business facilitation, workforce development, sustainability, and innovation.
